*hire products are not brand new items, and are used regularly. There will be some signs of wear and tear but with our specialised marquee washer we endeavor to minimise these signs.

We are not event decorators or stylists. Walkers Hire is an event and party hire company. We hire out marquees and furniture – in small or large quantities. Hiring furniture eliminates the hassle of buying, transporting, and setting up furniture for your event – at Walkers Hire we take care of delivery, setup*, and pickup, saving you time and effort. Hiring furniture for your party offers convenience, cost-effectiveness, flexibility, and professionalism, allowing you to focus on enjoying the event rather than worrying about logistical details. *additional costs may apply for setting out your furniture.
Generally, you’re looking at 4 day hire period – which would normally be Thursday – Monday, if your event or party is on a weekend.
We can arrange for a weekend, weekly, or even longer-term rental depending on your requirements.
For events such as weddings, parties, or corporate functions, typical hire durations might range from a single day to a weekend or longer if needed for setup and pack up. For longer-term use, such as for a temporary structure at a construction site or for an extended festival or exhibition, you may be able to extend the hire period and you should chat to a Walkers Hire team member.
Yes, all hire furniture, marquees and other event hire equipment comes with a delivery and pick up fee – the fee will depend on your location, access to the delivery area and if there are any specific requests such as set times (which may be required by some venues).
We have a range of items you can collect from one of our Sydney based locations, however delivery will save you a lot of time and effort. A pick up handling fee may apply.
Unless otherwise agreed, a quote is valid for up to seven days from the date of issue (subject to availability). During the quotation phase your items are not confirmed until a 30% deposit is paid. Your booking and items are not held until a formal acceptance of your quote, and deposit is paid.
Important - To ensure the confirmation of your booking and delivery times, payment in full is required 7 days before your delivery date.
If you have accepted our quote and paid a deposit and you chose to cancel your event more than twenty eight (28) days before the agreed delivery date, any payment made will be held in credit for you to use at another time with 12 months of the original event date.
If you cancel a booking less than 28 days but more than 72 hours before the agreed delivery date, any payment made will be forfeited.
In the event that you cancel a booking less than 72 hours before the agreed delivery date, you are obliged to pay the full amount due. Any monies paid will be forfeited.

Yes, a big part of our business is setting up marquees and party hire furniture in home backyards. Having a party at home can be fun, and although it might seem like there's a lot of work involved our Walkers Hire team can help you.
Hosting a party at home or other outdoor event can be made difficult with a looming raining forecast which is why we encourage you to hire a marquee early in your party planning process to avoid any stress over weather conditions.
At Walkers Hire, we welcome you to contact us for a last minute marquee 'emergency' - but we cannot guarantee we can assist you if your party date is less than one week prior to your event date. As Sydney's leading party hire company we are very popular and our items are often booked out well in advance, so we recommend to get in early and avoid disappointment.
